About the role
Reporting to the board, and part of the leadership team, this is a brand-new role to build capability in comms planning and activation to take social impact-based programmes, campaigns and stories into the lives of their audiences. The Communications Planning & Activation Director will:
- Provide integrated activation strategy and solutions
- Audience-agnostic comms planning including messaging and channel planning
- Data strategy including performance and effectiveness measurement
- Communications strategy and activation
- Partnerships activation
- Media planning and buying, working with media agency partner
The role will lead a team of comms planners, analysts, digital marketeers and partnerships managers and collaborate closely with client services, strategy, new business, creative and content teams to deliver growth through effective multi-channel comms solutions.
About your background and skills

Comms planning expert with experience delivering multi-channel strategies and solutions.

Experience working with youth media – understanding of how, where and when to engage and communicate with this audience. Plus, plugged into youth media trends.

Strong leadership skills - high quality functional leader, able to work upwards, sideways and downwards. Excellent at engaging large internal teams with the idea, taking them on a journey. Plus, strong people manager.

Commercial – experienced in driving forward possibilities internally and externally
