About the role
As a Senior Associate in the Advisory team, you will project manage small to medium scale client
engagements and take the lead in delivering a diverse range of project workstreams. You will take
responsibility for delivering the workstreams you own on time and to a high standard. You will support junior colleagues on projects to learn and develop and will play a key role in shaping and delivering client recommendations.
You will contribute to client engagements end-to-end, including inputting into scoping, pitch,
execution, delivery and ongoing relationship management. You will take the lead in running internal brainstorming sessions and applying our consulting toolkit to solve client challenges. You will lead
smaller engagements with clients, with the support of a Partner.
Through successfully delivering against client briefs, on time and to a high standard, you will develop trusted advisor relationships, leading to new business opportunities.
You will take a data and methodology agnostic approach to solving client problems, comfortably
utilising a range of inputs, including quant and qual research, commercial data, customer data, market data and stakeholder inputs to build an evidence base for your recommendations. You will be responsible for identifying potential data sources, capturing and analysing them.
You will develop subject matter expertise and experience in one or more skill areas, including their
proprietary consulting toolkit, and take responsibility for applying these in a client context and
supporting junior colleagues to learn and develop in your specialist areas.
Outside of client work, you will contribute to the growth of our practice, through creating marketing
content, supporting with marketing events, taking responsibility for team governance and processes
and supporting with social and cultural initiatives.

About your background and skills
You will have a background in consumer strategy, either working as part of an in-house strategy team or within an agency/consultancy delivering strategy solutions for clients. You will have experience in a range of strategic services, which could include growth strategy, customer
strategy, proposition development, investment strategy and due diligence, brand and portfolio
strategy, and channel strategy. You have a passion for motivating and engaging clients/stakeholders, building trust with clients and are able to synthesise diverse perspectives and data sources into clear conclusions and recommendations for clients/senior stakeholders. You are highly commercial, comfortable developing business cases for investment and have strong analytical skills, comfortable analysing a range of data types, including financial, operational and market data, as well as consumer research. You demonstrate pragmatism in client recommendations, balancing the customer opportunity with commercial and operational realities as well as enjoying problem solving, likes to get stuck in, isn’t afraid to challenge the thinking but does so with respect and compassion. You have a natural curiosity for how consumers think and human behaviour and are able to make the link
between evidence and commercial opportunity.
