About the role
The Senior Strategist role includes day-to-day management of projects and developing insight and strategy based on quantitative and qualitative research. Your key responsibilities will include co-develop quantitative research designs spanning survey research and data and analytics tools (social listening, syndicated data sources, etc.). You will liaise with network partners to implement research designs from setup to programming, fieldwork management & data quality checks, and be responsible for end-to-end project organization and planning (incl. client-facing tasks where applicable). You will have pro-active communication with project leaders: keeping them informed, preparing briefing notes, data reviews, meeting agendas, summaries, and up-to-date project filing, while being responsible for the execution of analysis plans co-developed with team leads.
About your background and skills
You must have 3+ years of experience in a quantitative research agency role using statistical analysis tools to develop inspiring segmentations. Experience with brand health trackers with a focus on retail and fashion is desired as well as a knowledge of common data and research roadblocks, technical challenges, and how to overcome them. You must be proficient in Excel, google or Microsoft presentation suite and data charting, tableau, social listening, or data mining, and you need to know your way around data visualization to tell powerful, compelling stories through data.
Your mindset must be filled with curiosity – an insatiable desire to understand lives different from one's personal experiences and immerse in new ideas shaping culture. You need to have a hunger for growth: a drive to continuously develop new skills and never settle, as well as a spirit of service: a passion for making clients feel like their needs are taken care of, their perspective is valued, and their projects are elevated. Finally, you have indomitable inventiveness: the entrepreneurial resourcefulness to navigate complex challenges and disrupt expectations.
