About the role

You will identify new enterprise clients across sectors and develop strategies to introduce the company offerings and cultivate revenue-generating opportunities with these prospects. You'll earn a place as a trusted advisor by partnering with clients to understand their business objectives and help define where and how the company can play a role in achieving them. You will create strategic sales plans by identifying and pitching Emergence offerings that are aligned to clients’ business objectives as well as negotiate and close deals. You will oversee and accurately manage forecasts of sales opportunities and pipelines, and work in setting up the CRM system to work effectively and efficiently for the team. You will be responsible for KPI reporting across the sales team to the Board and managing client accounts to maintain long-term relationships and identify ongoing sales opportunities. You will coach and oversee the sales team to set them up for success to meet targets and close large deals, as well as grow the sales team in line with our revenue growth. Finally, you will be required to liaise with the Consulting Team to understand our consulting offerings and bring them into client conversations at the right time.

About your background and skills

You are required to have a minimum of 10 years’ of experience working in Sales/Business Development roles, ideally with large, complex client businesses and overseeing a team of at least 5 business developer executives. Experience coaching junior members of the sales team is required to hone their pitching skills and achieve their targets. In addition, a thorough knowledge and/or experience in sales with a proven track record of success initiating new client relationships and driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships is required. It is essential to have knowledge and experience of new and emerging technology, ideally including Intelligent Automation and delivery of large transformation programs. You must have storytelling ability with strong communication and presentation skills, and an ability to translate insights, product offerings and data into business benefits for the client. In addition, strong experience in navigating, influencing and selling within highly matrixed, complex organisations is essential and you must be a consultative seller who can gain the credibility of executive clients. Finally, you need to have the confidence to be a trusted leader in the industry and lead conversations with c-suite prospects at networking events.

Salary Range

£125k-£130k
