About the role
About your background and skills
You are required to have a minimum of 10 years’ of experience working in Sales/Business Development roles, ideally with large, complex client businesses and overseeing a team of at least 5 business developer executives. Experience coaching junior members of the sales team is required to hone their pitching skills and achieve their targets. In addition, a thorough knowledge and/or experience in sales with a proven track record of success initiating new client relationships and driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships is required. It is essential to have knowledge and experience of new and emerging technology, ideally including Intelligent Automation and delivery of large transformation programs. You must have storytelling ability with strong communication and presentation skills, and an ability to translate insights, product offerings and data into business benefits for the client. In addition, strong experience in navigating, influencing and selling within highly matrixed, complex organisations is essential and you must be a consultative seller who can gain the credibility of executive clients. Finally, you need to have the confidence to be a trusted leader in the industry and lead conversations with c-suite prospects at networking events.
