About the company

The Growth & Innovation practice works with FTSE100, Fortune 500 and European equivalent companies to help them develop, create and deliver exciting new businesses that can generate significant revenues and tap new markets. In the past ten years, the company has built over 100 new ventures and businesses in telecoms, media and technology, utilities, consumer goods, manufacturing, industrial, defence, pharma, financial services and retail. They help their clients develop and deliver new customer propositions and ventures that gain early momentum, rapid market traction and drive new revenues. Starting with just a theme or an idea, they help their clients through each stage of the process – including market analysis, idea generation, proposition development, business cases, proof of concepts and launch to market. The team is made up of corporate entrepreneurs; each of them having a strong mix of corporate, consulting and entrepreneurial experience and a significant track record in successful new business launches for blue chip companies. As part of the Growth & Innovation work, they have established a Quantum Lab to support their clients with the adoption and commercialisation of this technology.

About the role

You will be primarily leading the delivery of projects, including owning the structure of the final deliverable and client engagements. You will ensure the right challenge and interventions are made at the appropriate time to ensure project team and client is given the right direction.
You will potentially be working across several projects at once in the UK&I and, if required, supporting overseas engagements Business development. You will drive the on sell of existing projects and manage accounts to open them up for further G&I and wider UK practice opportunities. You will work on the development of new offers and wider capabilities to open up new accounts and new opportunities while identifying cross-sell opportunities for wider Group capabilities, particularly across digital transformation and data science. You will lead business development activities, working across the team to develop proposals for practice-related opportunities, and also identify opportunities to engage new clients. The role will include building and maintaining your own external professional peer networks, and internal network, while also supporting marketing campaigns and overall external positioning of Sia Partners across social networks

In addition, you will be coaching and providing constructive feedback to others on the team to help them develop, while facilitating own learning and specialist subject matter knowledge whilst supporting Senior Consultants to further develop their knowledge and consulting skills within the practice. You will be working closely with other teams to share information and new methodologies while helping to develop the team’s strategy and internal processes, in collaboration with Management. 

About your background and skills

You will have a strong sense of empathy so you are able to get the best out of people and be a problem solver who knows how to work in a structured manner, even when solving new, exciting problems, starting form a place of uncertainty. You are passionate about building businesses that are creative and imaginative whilst being commercially viable in the marketplace. You have a proactive mentality –they want individuals who are happy to point out opportunities for us to grow and do things better. They are looking for individuals who want to bring their passion to work – whether that be healthcare, quantum, sustainability, deep tech etc. Their team is willing to support your areas of interest. Therefore, an entrepreneurial spirit, personal initiative, drive and energy is essential. 

You must be able to demonstrate a track record of both analytical and commercial thinking and have helped build compelling business cases which articulate customer propositions. You can also explain the market opportunity supported with robust validation. You possess a solid consulting toolkit with polished communication skills and the ability to present compellingly to senior and director level clients. You are a proven growth professional and have led teams and clients to identify and deliver new areas of growth in major organisations, growth consultancies or venture/innovation companies. You hold strong academics and being multi lingual is an ideal requirement. You have experience of operating in a blue-chip corporate or consulting environment and hold a bachelor’s Degree (2:1) or international equivalent. An advanced business degree (e.g. MS, MBA) is nice to have but you must have a sales track record of c. £500k per annum. It is also beneficial to have experience in wider disciplines such as digital transformation, design thinking, digital design, data science.

Salary Range

£85k-£120k
