Remote company cultures have broadened the talent pool like never before, providing companies with access to stronger candidates while allowing workers to find the perfect role. While there are many perks to exploring talent across the globe, this also comes with its unique challenges.

When sifting through now just hundreds, but thousands of qualified applicants, it becomes that much harder to find the perfect company fit. When Experian was ready to add new designers to their pods to support growth, they struggled to find ideal, permanent team members. Our partnership with them took the stress out of hiring a remote team and led them straight to high-quality new members.

 

THE PROBLEM

In a saturated global talent pool, Experian struggled to find high-calibre designers to add to their pods. They spent over six months shuffling through candidates and reached a point of urgency.

We worked closely with Experian’s in-house TA team and design leaders to create an efficient hiring process and robust materials about the company and teams. The materials provided potential hires with in-depth knowledge about each team, attracting a new pool of talent into their pipeline. 

Taking time to create a hiring process that is streamlined for both the company and the candidate is a key component in successfully bringing in the right person. Assets like info decks about the team and company make the company that much more attractive to the best talent in the industry.

Experian’s teams felt quick relief as we aided them in hiring the designers they needed as efficiently as possible. They saved time and energy by only meeting with the strongest talent matches, leaving the sifting and vetting process to us. With new Design Managers and Product Designers at every level, Experian is well on its way to a future of growth and success.
